IN MEMORIAM - NORMA KERSNOVSKE (LEA)
It is with deep regret that the Board, Management and Staff of PARTEC advise that on 15th October 2011, Norma Kersnovske (Lea), did not awaken from her sleep. Norma was for over 20 years the Personal Assistant to the Manager of PARTEC, Roger Cater and was often the first point of contact between PARTEC and the wider industry. She provided a cheerful source of assistance for those seeking help from PARTEC, and her contributions helped make PARTEC the successful entity it is today. She was also responsible for organising the Queensland Plastics Industry Golf Days which raised many dollars to help fund a number of worthy charities. We offer our deepest condolences to her family and many friends in the industry.
Formal notice:- Courier Mail , Thursday, October 19, 2011. (Kersnovske, Norma Lorraine).

A memorial function for the Queensland Plastic Industry, and Plastics-ITC members, acknowledging her contributions, and also advising those people to whom she would have been the first contact point for PARTEC, will be held at PARTEC Institute on Tuesday 22 November. This will precede the Annual Report and Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for approximately 4pm, chaired by Alan Birchley. There will be a barbeque and refreshments from around 1pm, and open house for all visitors to meet and reflect on the year past, the opportunities ahead, and to remember Norma.

I was shocked to learn about Norma's passing, and I imagine everyone else is the same.
I'll miss the friendly chats with Norma.
Very sincere condolences to Norma's family and her colleagues at PARTEC who must be devastated by this terrible loss.
My dealings with Partec date back to 1992 when i first was invited to conduct sessions in automotive plastic, vinyl and trim repair. I first met Norma then and a great ongoing friendship ensued with a wonderful lady who had a big heart. She was always there to help and source whatever was needed to make the classes a success.
Travelling to townsville with the Partec family will remain one of my most treasured memories. It was Norma who planned and booked the entire trip on behalf my wife and I who loved taking that trip.
Nothing was too hard for Norma, her commitment, contribution and amazing dedication to Partec will leave a legacy for all of us to reap many benefits from. RIP to an amazing lady. - Ken
One of people who seek an assistance from the PARTEC is Mushtaq Albdiry, doctorate student (USQ, Toowoomba). While I come down to the PARTEC in morning (a day weekly), I was meeting her at her reception desk. She welcomes me with a big smile in her bright and cheerful face and says good morning Mushtaq and I say good morning Norma. Although, it was a short time I knew her, I fell with a wide restfulness and happiness when I was talking to her. I cannot stop myself to write on her behaviour with me and cannot express on my sadness and burning heart just to say our God welcomes her in his wide paradise.
My warmest regret and sorry to her family members.
Mushtaq Albdiry (PhD student, USQ, Toowoomba).
